The curriculum at Stepping Stones is designed to meet the needs of the children as a whole, yet accommodates each and every child as an individual. Independent Consultants are contracted to provide music instruction and interactive storytelling experiences on a weekly basis. Field trips and guest speakers are an important extension of our curriculum.
The following are some of the skills we incorporate at Stepping Stones in a variety of ways each day: Math, Art, Literature, Science, Music & Movement, Reading Readiness.Our enrichment program has been developed to offer four year olds and children attending morning kindergarten programs something extra. It meets three times a week for an additional three hours each day. Fours stay on after their morning class. Music theory, creative movement, science, math, art and literacy classes are incorporated on a weekly basis. Children bring their lunch.
We are now accepting new registrations for next year.
Stepping Stones will close should the Governor of NH or the President of the USA mandate us to do so. We would also close temporarily if we deem it necessary to maintain your children's and our staff's wellbeing.
We will have three weeks of camp this summer. 2 weeks in July and 1 in August. Sign up early as they are very popular and fill immediately
Sept 13 - Orientation 7pm for New Parents Sept 14- 3's Open House 9-10 Trad 4's Open House 10:15-11:00 Enrichment 11:15-12 Sept 15 3's First Day - Parents meet with teachers Sept 16- 4's First Day - Parents meet with teachers (no Enrichment)
Incoming 3's and 4's are invited to come see the school and meet their teachers. We have set aside Sept 10th and Sept 13th from 9:00 to 10:30am just for these transition classes. Tuition per class is $10.
